What an amazing year 2026 has been for Green Bowls across the country. Indeed on some fixtures too hot for many. Hats and plenty of water have been the order of the day.

Our two Three Counties Fellowship league teams have played in the third division and have had mixed fortunes this year. Our A team, although having some great matches sadly ended up at the bottom of the league, and will be moved to the forth division for the 2027 season.

Our B team Captained by Brian Lintott, only conceded one match and ended up at the top of the third division, 16 points ahead of they’re nearest competitors, which means promotion to the second division for the 2027 season. Congratulations to our B team, very well done - 1st division at the end of 2027 maybe ?? Let’s wait and see how the 2027 season pans out.

The divisional competitions were only a part of the 2026 seasons matches, with both friendly matches, club competitions and county matches taking place. The Rother Valleys Triples was another blisteringly hot day which ended up with two Witterings & District teams in the final, amazingly Witterings won!!

We have had a number of successes. Most recently our girls at Farnham Ladies day - well done to them.

The outdoor season is nearing its end and we look forward to indoor for the autumn and winter and to the 2027 outdoor season
